Saudi Aramco
The Saudi Aramco Dhahran Area District Cooling Provider contract was the first ever major outsourcing contract signed by Saudi Aramco in May 2010 to provide the District Cooling Services to Aramco Dhahran office complexes under a 25-year long term service agreement.
The initial design capacity of the Plant is 27,000 TR and can be extended to 32,000 TR along with 14.5 KM of pipe network. The contract is to Design, Engineer, Finance, Build, Own and Operate the District Cooling Plant and Pipe network infrastructure within the Saudi Aramco Dhahran area office complex structured under long-term project financing. The main EPC contractor for the project is SNC Lavalin Arabia who has executed many District Cooling Projects in the Middle East region.
